Osama bin Laden:
The Truth

In 1999 Osama bin Laden (then a virtually unknown person) attempted to derail several Amtrak trains at midnight, under cover of any Y2K bugs. I stopped him by convincing Amtrak to pause all of their trains for an hour while Y2K passed. It may have been the most important thing I've ever done, or ever will do. Since then, many people have asked me if I know where Bin Laden is or where he might be hiding. What follows is the TRUTH about Bin Laden.

As of 2011, Bin Laden has been dead for about ten years.

******* Final Update *******

On May 1st 2011, it was reported that Navy Seals "killed" Osama Bin Laden. This is pure disinformation. It should be noted that his body was identified by DNA samples. Had he been killed in some "attack" by a small group of special forces, DNA identifucation would not have been necessary. It should also be noted that no "attack" was ever specifically mentioned, (at least at first before they changed their story) adding to the idea that Osama's body was actually found in some other way. It is likely that the special forces have been searching for his body for a number of years, and have finally found where it was hidden, or our government has been in possession of Bin Laden's body this entire time. By now it would have been only bones, thus the need for DNA identification (if in fact there was a need at all)...and the convenient non-muslim burial at sea.

Not a conspiracy really, just the sort of thing the government does all the time.

It is important to note that I predicted this over eight years ago. This is on record. As I stated on Art Bell's Coast-to-Coast show back in 1999, I was well aware of Bin Laden and his activities, and the fact that he worked for the CIA just as I did, long before the general public knew anything about the man. I made this prediction in 2003 when Steve Pieczenik told me personally (and later went public with this info) that Bin Laden was known to be dead. That is when I started this page. Later Madeline Albright also confirmed this publicly on CNN. On April 15, 2011, I predicted publicly on internet radio that by May, due to Obama's plummeting approval ratings, that there would be a major announcement concerning Bin Laden, that he had been captured or killed, and that this would happen on a Sunday in order to dominate the following week of news. On May 01, 2011, this is precisely what had happened.

Up until until December 14, 2001, Bin Laden's voice was detected regularly by intelligence operatives who monitor radio transmissions in Tora Bora, (according to the Pentagon) [details]. Since that day no transmissions have been detected from the al-Qa'eda leader. According to President Bush, Bin Laden's silence may mean he has been killed. [Telegraph, 12/28/2001]
Osama bin Laden is dead. According to news sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the fugitive died in December 2001, and was buried in the mountains of southeast Afghanistan. Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan's president, confirmed the information. Whatever remains of Osama's crew has remained quiet, probably to keep Osama's ghost alive or perhaps because they have no means of communication. Click for full sized image
With an ego almost as big as mine, I don't see how Osama could have remained silent for all these years, if he were still alive. This silence says volumes. He was always making threats and taking credit for things. If anything, he'd be taunting us by reminding us that he hasn't been caught. Now, nothing but silence all this time? Give me a break. [New York Times. July 11, 2002]

Bin Laden was reported to be in poor health before he went silent. Back in 2000, even before 9-11, it was said he was suffering from Hepatitis C, and could only expect to live for only two more years, and that was back THEN. In year 2000, he ordered a mobile dialysis machine to be delivered to his base at Kandahar in Afghanistan. I cannot believe he's been hiding out in caves on dialysis all this time. [Guardian]

Look at how Bin Laden has aged

This is a man who was clearly not well. Here he is in December 2001, he looks like total crap.

Bin Laden December 27, 2001 video

Healthy bin Laden

But by December, when that tape was aired, he was barely moving the left side of his body at all. He was clearly suffering from his diabetes, and low blood pressure. And remember, he had a wound on his left foot. When you consider that he was also on dialysis, you can guess that his kidneys were prolly failing him as well. [CNN]

The December 27, 2001 video was dismissed by the Bush administration, and in my opinion rightfully so, as sick propaganda possibly designed to mask the fact the al-Qa'eda leader was already dead. They were only saying it as a possibility, but I think they were dead on target. One aide said, "He could have made the video and then ordered that it be released in the event of his death,". [Telegraph]

Musharraf thinks Bin Laden is dead too.

Pakistan's president says he thinks Osama bin Laden died of kidney disease which he was unable to get proper treatment for, I agree.

A Bush administration official said U.S. intelligence is that bin Laden needs dialysis every three days and "it is fairly obvious that that could be an issue when you are running from place to place, and facing the idea of needing to generate electricity in a mountain hideout." [CNN]

Look at Osama's situation. Renal dialysis (hemodialysis) is something that really is reserved for patients in end-stage renal failure. (feel free to google any of this- How do you think *I* found out about this stuff?) That means their kidneys have just completely shut down. The most common cause of something like that would be something like diabetes and hypertension. Once that's happened, if you're separated from your dialysis machine -- and incidentally, dialysis machines require electricity, they're going to require distilled water, they're going to require a sterile setting -- infection is a huge risk with that. If you don't have all those things and a functioning dialysis machine, it's unlikely that you'd survive beyond several days or a week at the most. [CNN]

Karzai: bin Laden 'probably' dead

Osama bin Laden is "probably" dead, but former Taliban leader Mullah Omar is alive, Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said. [CNN]

FBI: Bin Laden 'probably' dead

Dale Watson, FBI counter-terrorism chief, says he thinks Osama bin Laden is "probably" dead. [BBC]

An Arab News magazine even ran bin Laden's will:

The editor-in-chief of a London-based Arab news magazine said a purported will it published was written late in year 2001 by Osama bin Laden, and shows "he's dying or he's going to die soon." [CNN]

News of Bin Laden's Death and Funeral 10 days ago

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader. "The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said. [FOX News]

A prominent official in the Afghan Taleban movement announced yesterday the death of Osama bin Laden, the chief of al-Qa'da organization, stating that binLaden suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death. [Welfare State]

Israeli intelligence: Bin Laden is dead, Taliban has new leader

Israeli sources said Israel and the United States assess that Bin Laden probably died in the U.S. military campaign in Afghanistan in December. They said the emergence of new messages by Bin Laden are probably fabrications, Middle East Newsline reported. [World Tribune]

When you hear a threat which is "probably" made by bin Laden, just remember that he's "probably" dead.

Terrorism is all about scaring YOU. As long as Al-quaida can keep this bogeyman alive, the longer they will have everyone looking to the skies wondering what buildings will fall next. Don't fall for it. He's dead.

AND FINALLY: The Central Intelligence Agency has closed a unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants. The unit, known as Alec Station, was disbanded and its analysts reassigned within the C.I.A. Counterterrorist Center. [New York Times 07/03/06]
